Follow Through is a productivity and workflow tool for financial advisors. Advisors may choose to store prospect and client information in the Service. In those cases, the Advisor is the primary data controller with respect to client information, and Beer Tech Studios LLC acts as a service provider / processor.

2. Information We Collect

2.1. Account & Authentication Data

When you sign in to Follow Through, we may receive:

• Your name and email address used for account authentication
• Authentication metadata provided by our auth provider (Supabase/Auth)

2.2. Lead & Follow-Up Data (Advisor-Entered)

Advisors may optionally store information about prospects and clients:

• Names and contact details
• Relationship status (prospect, client, etc.)
• Value tier, fit type, and channel preference
• Internal notes and follow-up history
• Email drafts and communications created inside Follow Through

Advisors are responsible for ensuring the data they store complies with firm policies and regulatory obligations.

2.3. Technical Data

When using Follow Through, we may collect:

• Log data (timestamps, pages accessed)
• Device and browser information
• Diagnostic data for performance and reliability

2.4. AI-Related Data

Follow Through includes optional AI-assisted features (e.g., email drafting). The system is intentionally designed to prevent sharing client PII with AI models.

• Prompts include only high-level, non-PII context
• Client names are replaced with [Client]
• Real data is substituted locally in the browser after the AI response

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve Follow Through
• Authenticate users and secure accounts
• Support advisor workflows, follow-ups, and organization
• Generate AI-assisted drafts using only non-PII contextual prompts
• Monitor errors, performance, and service reliability

4. AI & Third-Party Services

Follow Through uses third-party services (such as OpenAI and Supabase) solely to enable platform functionality. We do **not** send client PII to AI providers.

All client identifiers are stripped or replaced with placeholders before any prompt is sent externally.

5. Data Sharing & Selling

Beer Tech Studios LLC does not sell Advisor or client data.

We may share data only in limited scenarios:

• Service providers necessary to operate Follow Through
• Legal or regulatory obligations
• Business transfers (merger, acquisition), with protections

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures such as:

• HTTPS encryption
• Supabase row-level security (RLS)
• Least-privilege service configuration
• Authentication and authorization checks

Advisors must follow their firm's security requirements, including device protection and safe storage of credentials.

7. Data Retention

Follow Through retains data while your account is active. Advisors may delete individual leads or follow-ups at any time. Deleted data may briefly persist in backups.

8. Advisor Responsibilities

Advisors are responsible for:

• Compliance with firm and regulatory policies
• Determining what client data to store
• Reviewing all AI-generated content before sending
• Avoiding entry of sensitive client data (SSNs, account numbers)

9. Children’s Privacy

Follow Through is not directed at children and is only intended for use by financial professionals.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When updated, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the change.
